The artist's contribution to Interfunctionen in solo book form. There were 50 signed and numbered "limited edition" copies issued, followed by the release and sale of 300 unsigned and unnumbered copies. This copy is the latter. In our opinion this is Broodthaers’ most enigmatic work. How the images relate to the captions, how the pages relate to each other, what the sequence accomplishes, what any of it has to do with vegetation, or racism. A very concise and beguiling rebus.
