Broodthaers Society of America
Our archive is back on view and its contents are fully accessible by appointment for research on Marcel Broodthaers.

To our knowledge we have one of the most extensive collections of MB-related material anywhere in the Americas, with a particular emphasis on his early years as a surrealist poet and journalist. We have examples of nearly all of his artworks in the form of publications, including the infamous "Moi aussi…" exhibition announcement and a rare, one-of-a-kind copy of Pense Bête that has been hand-annotated by the artist throughout.

Visits will be limited to a maximum of three people at a time. Face masks are optional. Latex gloves are available and required for handling material. Hand sanitizer is available on request.

Researchers: photography is allowed on most items but pencils only, no pens.
