I Apologize, a sly chapbook by Sydney Wilder, takes its inspiration from two poets named Williams—William Carlos and Emmet—to mordant effect.
Williams' poem "Plums," an infamous example of #sorrynotsorry, conceptually merges with Wilder's penchant for finding creative ways to apologize over email, organized into a poetry writing machine inspired by Emmet Williams' poem "IBM."
