A nice document of mostly seldom seen drawings and painted sculptures by Broodthaers, the kind of works that never seem to make it into museum surveys and thus are fun to look at, even in reproduction, because they evidence small dead ends, mistakes, and whims. Thirty-four works, all illustrated and including a checklist, plus two poems by Broodthaers.
